“Anyone who knows me well knows I always want the ball at my feet, but the key to a good team is to adapt to different playing conditions,” Kroos said.
“If you have to push the ball forward, you have to play fast. That’s the way to control the game, but I always want the ball. I’m happy with 90% possession and winning 1- 0. You have to play the ball to create the gap, and possession alone is not enough.”
Real Madrid is leading La Liga with 5 points more than the team behind. Kroos admits “Los Blancos” is making progress. “At the start of the season, we won a lot of games even though we didn’t play well. Now Real Madrid are improving and doing very well in difficult games. However, no trophies were awarded in January, except for the Super Cup. Spain,” Kroos said.
“So Real Madrid has to keep going up, because there’s a club that follows us very closely in La Liga (Sevilla – PV). If they fail, they will catch up. If that happens, we think we will have problems. subject”.
Real Madrid of Kroos will meet Barca at 2am on January 13 in the semi-finals of the Spanish Super Cup. The other match takes place between Athletic Bilbao and Atletico Madrid.
