PARIS – More than 100 people have been arrested after crowds caused disturbances following last weekend’s Champions League soccer final between Liverpool and Real Madrid, French Interior Minister Gerald Darmanin said.
Darmanin said there were 29 arrests around and inside the Stade de France, of which half he said were “British nationals”, and another 77 arrests in the surrounding Seine Saint Denis Paris suburb around, unrelated to the British.
