MANILA, Philippines — The Philippines women’s soccer team was drawn in Group A of the 2022 ASEAN Football Federation (AFF) Women’s Football Championship, to be hosted by the country from July 4 to 17.

Filipinas played against the three-time AFF women’s team and Southeast Asian Games runners-up Thailand, Australia, Indonesia, Singapore and Malaysia in Saturday’s draw at the Marco Polo Hotel.

Matches will be held at the Biñan Football Stadium in Biñan City and the Imus City Hall in Imus, Cavite.

Women’s national football team coach Alen Stajcic is excited to be battling the best teams in the region in front of a home crowd as he doesn’t mind kicking in preparation for his 2023 Fifa Women’s World Cup debut. their history.
